Performance Management is the practice of benchmarking aims and tasks to check they are being met to their specific needs. Performance management can take place on a company or a department within a company or on its indivual employees , where social interaction is key and needs to be monitored. The overall aim is to save company and managers time, by informing employees of their jobs tasks and aims which allows them to start making decisions on their own and leaves supvisers to only be involved in decisions that can only be made by them.
